Our next support group meeting will be held on Monday, July 26, 2010 at 6pm. Dr. Lisa West-Smith will be our guest speaker.
Dr. West-Smith is an experienced psychotherapist with extensive clinical, research and academic background in Bariatrics and eating disorders. Her Goal Getters meetings are especially valuable for patients who are struggling with emotional eating, chronic worry, depressed mood, social anxiety, body image issues, relationship changes or other mental health concerns related to life adjustment after surgery. Dr. West-Smith's sessions are designed to help you learn skills to deal with emotional challenges so that they do not interfere with your long-term success after surgery. This meeting will focus on Good "Mood Management" for Food & for Life!
