Vitamin Supplementation

Postby jess10 on Tue Jul 27, 2010 10:20 am

I haven't had the gastric bypass surgery yet, I have my first all day appt. on 8/6/10, but I am already looking at vitamins and protein supplements. Can a gastric bypass patient use liquid vitamins instead of chewable? Also in preparing to have gastric bypass surgery are there things that we can begin to do nutritionally to prepare? I have already given up carbonated drinks and caffeine. Thanks so much, look forward to seeing you on the 6th

We have currently updated our vitamin lists and you will be receiving that next week as well as A LOT of info on nutrition and lifestyle changes. You will be over-educated before you leave.
I have information under our current vitamin forum but that will be changing.
Look forward to seeing you.

Trying to figure out vitamins has been my least favorite part of the entire process. I can post what I've decided to try at first if you'd like. I can't find any chewable vitamin d or chewable B1 (thiamine).
